Finding Ultra Rich Roll

Rich's book is  incredibley inspiring. It tells his story of being an Alcoholic for a large part of his youth. Then into a sober junk food eating lawyer ad how he then found Ultra endurance sports at 40 and turned into a plant based athlete!

Born to Run by Christopher McDougall
The Circadian Code by Dr Satchidananda Panda

This book is a great manual for structuring your days to one that optimises your health. From sleep timing to meal timings everything impacts your natural bodyclock that runs automatically. A huge amount of research has been done on meal timings and fasting protocols and the initial findings are impressive. This book is well worth a read/listen.

This is  a fantatsic book and tells the story of a jounrlist who travels to south America to find a fabled tribe who do Ultra races for fun as part of their culture. It explains how and why humans are "born to run". It's absolutely fascinating and may inspire you to get out and do the thing that is  most natural to us humans. Running!

This book can be used as a superb starting point for anyone who wants to get on top of their finances. Sadly as a society we are not taught how to manage our money effectively. This book is  will help you identify areas where improvements can be made and a plan created to leave the rat race!

Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki
The Blue Zones of Happiness by Dan Buettener

Have you ever struggled to lose weight? Get fitter? Cut out junk food? or stop boozing?

Well it may not be entirely your fault. Dan Buetteners work on the blue zones across world where they have the highest percentage of people over the age of 100 help explain why society is against us.

Our society is not designed for optimal health or longevity! This book explains many factors that impact us and may inspire you to implement some of them into your own lifestyle.

Atomic Habits by James Clear

This is a must read/listen! Ever wondered how people become successful in any given field? It's not the goals that set us apart, it's the systems we put in place to get there. This book will help you develop habits that will get you closer to living an authentic and intentional life.

People to Follow

The Natural Lifestylist

Tony Riddle is  a machine! The astonding achievements he has achieved are. incredible. He has just ran the 3 peaks, without trainers....and ran the 400+miles in between in just barefoot shoes averaging 50 miles a day for 9 days!!

He is  all about getting back to how we are supposed to live, back to how we are supposed to move, breath and love. Inspiring guy!

Feel Better Live More with DR Rangan Chatterjee

This was a great find. Dr Rangan is a practicing GP in the UK. However unlike many, he is  aware of the benefits of lifestyle improvement, of diet, of exercise, meditation and breathwork.

It's refreshing to hear is  approach to his career and his Podcast is  well worth a listen.

Rich Roll

Rich Roll's much like his Podcast leads a a lifestyle that can inspire us. Being a plant based, ultra athlete, family man, business owner and social media icon he manages to navigate this with grace and poise and I think does this without being too preachy.

Leigh Ewin
On Purpose with Jay Shetty

I believe Jay's Podcast was the first podcast I started listening to. It was the Podcast that got me delving more into my purpose and a spiritual journey.

I think this is  one of the most popular podcasts and again he gets fantastic guests and combines with solo episodes that deliver actionable wisdom to take away.

I met Leigh last year on one of his breathwork day courses where he taught both the Oxygen Advantage and Wim Hoff methods.

He is  all about Nasal breathing and cold therapy but also puts lots of interactive content out and promotes peace, love and equinimity.

He's a good dude and keeps me inspired on my journey.

The Kinetik Fitness Show with Ali West

Why do I enjoy this? Because Ali is getting some really interesting guests on many of whom I have not heard of. Guests that discuss all manner of health, wellbeing, business and spirituality.

Some of his episodes are very "wu wu" but personally I enjoy them. If you're not into that find the ones on business, health and purpose! I have a lot of love for this guy and I think his podcast is well worth a listen to help you become happier, healthier and lead a more joyful life.
